Description
The L85A2 UGL is a gas-operated, rotating bolt, magazine fed assault rifle. The L85A2 started out as the SA80, which was designed in the 1970s to 1980s. The L85A2 was put into service in 2000 with the upgrades from Heckler & Koch. This comes with an underside grenade launcher (UGL)

Following the Battle of Waterloo, all members of the newly named Grenadier Guards were permitted to wear the Bearskin. In 1831, this distinction was extended to the other two regiments of foot guards (Coldstream and Scots) in existence at that date. Bearskins were subsequently adopted by the Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards when raised in the early 20th Century.
