The Peacock-Class Patrol Corvette is a compact and versatile naval vessel originally built for the Royal Navy, with five ships constructed as part of the Hong Kong Squadron. Following the 1997 handover of Hong Kong to the People’s Republic of China, the vessels were sold to the Irish Naval Service and the Philippine Navy.
